Take part in the Psychology Zone

Throughout June and July 2021, I’m a Scientist, Get me out of here will connect school students with working psychologists in the Psychology Zone.

I’m a Scientist is a safe, student-led online activity.

It’s quick and easy to set up, and text-based – no audio or video required.

In the Psychology Zone, students can:

  • Gain a better understanding of what psychology is, and who it’s for
  • See how psychology works outside of the classroom
  • Learn more about new career paths they might not have considered
  • Gain confidence by asking questions

It’s accessible from home or the classroom and super-flexible – you book chats at times that suit you and your classes.

Thanks to funding from the British Psychological Society, this activity is completely free for UK state-maintained schools.

What teachers say:

“Incredibly easy to set up and run”
“My students loved their involvement and I was amazed at some of the questions they asked”
