I often start my work day by preparing my experiments, which includes preparing samples for analysis. This preparation method extracts proteins of interest. A protein is a large biological molecule that is made from a chain of amino acids (building blocks). I then analyse these proteins using an specialised instrument; I discuss anf review the results with my team.
