About Me: I live on the south coast of Devon with my cat, Cleocatra. When I’m not in the laboratory, I spend my time baking, going to gigs, studying and fossil hunting with my friends on the Jurassic Coast.
-
											My pronouns are: She/Her
-
My Work: I work in a laboratory that tests thousands of water samples from rivers, lakes and the sea to make sure they safe, and not full of nasty chemicals that can make people and animals very poorly.
-
My Typical Day: I start work at 7am, my day consists of supervising the Assistant Scientists in the preparation lab, where all of the water samples are prepped for testing. I am also responsible for the maintenance and running of 7 GCMS instruments and data handling the results from the tests I run. Because I start early I get to finish at 3pm, though I often stay later, as there is always a lot of work to do.
