About Me:
Hi there! I’m a PhD student, studying how the mutations arise that can lead to cancer, using pictures of cells and a technique called DNA sequencing. I live in Cambridge, and love swimming & waterskiing!

I don’t do any lab work – I am entirely a computational biologist! This means I use computer languages such as Python to analyse big datasets, such as pictures.

My Typical Day:
I usually wake up as late as possible, to then rush to get my train to work. Throughout the day, I have chats and coffee with my friends and other students, and work on analysing my data, and arranging for experiments to be done. I have lunch with my whole team at 1, and head home anywhere between 4pm and 10pm depending on the day!!
