      Public Engagement Consultant with over 12 years experience bringing communities and researchers together. I enjoy mentoring scientists along their engagement journeys, in particular looking at how engagement can help them in their careers.

      I was previously a cosmologist. We were looking for special patterns in how we see this light here on Earth. Those patterns tell us a lot about how the universe started. I now work in Science Communication. I also advise universities on how they can make their universities more approachable to their communities.

    • My Typical Day:

      I wake up around half 7, train at the gym and get to my desk for about 10.  I tend to get home for half 5. Some days we go see friends for dinner, watch our faveourite TV shows, sometimes head out for a drink. Depends on our energy!

      I do a lot of e-mails! I also run workshops, sometimes online, sometimes in person that train other scientists on how to have conversations about their research. I also have loads of conversations with scientists about their work, and how they do it. This helps give advice to the universities.

        Carbonara. I make an amazing one.

        I'd wish for a new flat for my parents and my sister. And for people to listem more.
