About the kits
The kits have everything you need to run a debate on a controversial topic. They are set up to help students learn how to structure a debate, back up their opinions with facts and consider other points of view.
First Kit: IVF
Second Kit: ‘Are we too clean?’
Third Kit: Stem Cells
This project is the brainchild of the team who run I’m a Scientist, Get me out of Here!, the award-winning interactive event where school students talk to real scientists online.
Kits primarily designed for KS4, but successfully tested with ages 11-18.

There will be four free science debate kits in all, produced over the next year. This second one is ‘Are we too clean?’ as suggested and then voted for by teachers.
By popular demand, we have created a variety of blank debate cards so you can now create your own kits.
